Project TADS (Technical Assistance for Disaster Services ) is a technical assistance provider sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Services and operated by Aguirre International and the Bulow Group. Project TADS is partnering with individuals from the Center for Public Service at the University of North Texas and the Environmental Alliance for Senior Involvement.
Project TADS staff includes experts in homeland security issues and experienced CNCS training and technical assistance providers.
Jane Bullock, Project TADS Director, has more than 25 years' experience in disaster and emergency management including serving as Chief of Staff for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). She has worked with communities to integrate homeland security issues into their on-going community programs and to design and implement new mitigation strategies for homeland security. She is coauthor, along with George Haddow, of a new book, "Primer on Homeland Security" to be published in 2004.
George Haddow is an adjunct professor at the Institute for Crisis, Disaster and Risk Management at George Washington University. He has extensive experience in building public/private partnerships, business continuity planning and local hazardous materials and transportation planning.
Ann Patton is Director of Tulsa Partners, Inc. Her career has been dedicated to implementing innovative, community-based risk reduction and grassroots homeland security programs.
Dr. Nicole Vicinanza and Ms. Anna Marie Schmidt have provided technical assistance to CNCS programs in evaluation design through their work on Project STAR.
